| I learned about the practice and use of Earned Schedule (ES) from its developer, Walt Lipke, and I sought to practice this method in my projects....I learned of Project Flight Deck, and I started using the tool to track my project progress. | I have been coaching a Project Manager to improve the rigor of project planning, monitoring and control. By leveraging the output of your tool, I have been able to obtain the desired attention, both from the individual and her supervisor, since Project Flight Deck brings an objective view to the project plan via the popular adage that "if you can measure it, you can manage it." | In our move to Earned Schedule reporting, we wanted to automate the process of generating summarized weekly reports from the project schedule. The report needed to contain schedule tracking information. We are happy with the stock ES, SV(t), and SPI(t) included ... for this purpose.
